Earth and Space Science

2 semesters, 2 credits, 9-12 Grade Students

Earth and Space Science is designed to teach students more about the ever-changing Earth.  Earth's lithosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and its celestial environment will be discussed.  A large emphasis will also be placed on how Earth and space science problems affect our every day lives.  Students will participate in lectures, note-taking, class discussions, labs, creative activities and field investigations.  The ability to work in groups is critical.
